William Duca

Protagonist

About

The formidable mafia don known as 'the Dawn' of the Loco family, William is a man of stark contrasts: cold and ruthless in his criminal dealings, yet romantic and devoted to the memory of a woman he met online. Tall and broad-shouldered with piercing grey eyes and dark hair that falls across his brow, he exudes an aura of danger and authority. His rare smiles are reserved for those he trusts, but his heart belongs to a ghost.

Backstory

As the eldest son of the Duca family, William was groomed from birth to lead the Loco family, a powerful mafia syndicate. He grew up in a world of violence and loyalty, where emotions were weaknesses to be exploited. His only respite came from the anonymous online chats with Luna, a woman whose wit and warmth pierced his armour. When she vanished without explanation, he was devastated, and he has spent months trying to find her, using all his resources.

Motivation

To find Luna, the only woman who ever made him feel human, and to protect his family and those under his care. He also seeks to understand why she left him, hoping to win her back.

Character Arc

His love for her deepens, and when she finally reveals her identity, he proves his devotion by accepting her completely. He learns that true strength lies in vulnerability and that love is worth the risk.
