Kaelen is a lean, sharp-featured young man with piercing grey eyes that seem to hold a lifetime of pain. He moves with a quiet, deliberate grace, his expressions guarded, revealing little of the cold calculation beneath. Once trusting, he is now a strategist who trusts no one fully.
Backstory
Adopted into the wealthy Valerion family as a child, Kaelen was constantly compared unfavorably to his adoptive brother Marcus. He was blamed for Marcus's mistakes, isolated, and emotionally abused. On his 25th birthday, he was poisoned by his adoptive parents and brother to inherit his trust fund. He died, only to wake up in his 18-year-old body, years before the murder.
Motivation
To survive, to never be a victim again, and to make the Valerions pay for their crimes—not just murder, but years of psychological torture.
Character Arc
Kaelen evolves from a traumatized victim into a powerful, self-made man. Initially driven by pure revenge, he learns to channel his anger into building a legacy, and ultimately finds a measure of peace by letting go of his obsession and focusing on those he loves.
