To protect herself from being used, and to find a genuine connection with someone who values her for who she is, not her wealth or status.
Character Arc
Begins as a guarded, almost cynical person who tests Leo to see if he's genuine. As she watches him grow and prove himself, she learns to let her walls down and trust again. She realizes that love isn't about what you can give materially, but about vulnerability and authenticity.
